Can gums regrow?
It is claimed that CoEnzyme Q10 aids gums and can help them regrow ... my experience is that it doesn't. Now I like CoQ10 for many reasons, first and foremost for heart problems. Congestive heart failure responds remarkably well to Co Q10 supplements.
I have been told for literally decades that I had gum recession, particularly on my inner lower gums. It was reaching point of jeopordising my lower fron teeth. Luckily, I met Sara Paone (on my Anthony + Friends page) who took some pics of my gums before and after lasering them twice. Two appointments and I could clearly see gum regrowth! She goes around North America teaching other dental hygienists how to use lasers to help gums regrow, and she works right here in Toronto.
All my years of faithfully taking vitamin C and CoQ10 which are both necessary for good gum health at best slowed the recession, but never was I able to regrow any gum tissue until a few months back when I saw Sara.
Speaking of awesome dental health professionals, Dr Hans Schwartz is amazing, and he's also listed on my Anthony + Friends page.

the case AGAINST Root Canals
I was at U of T getting cheap dental care, which overall was pretty good, but holy smokes, buyer beware; I was told some incredible fallacies by the student practitioners, that I will list;
Dental students at U of T taught the following myths;
1. metal (amalgam) fillings have very little mercury
2. root canals are a good idea for a dead tooth
the TRUTH is
1. MERCURY is found plentifully in metal fillings. According to the American Dental Association, amalgam (metal) fillings are about 50% mercury, by weight. Also according to the ADA, they do release mercury vapours but inexplicably, this is claimed to not pose any harm, according to the ADA and other "trustworthy" sources of health information like the Mayo clinic and the FDA as well as the CDC in the US, and Health Canada, which all state practically in unison that amalgam is about 50% mercury but is safe for use in our teeth.
BUT the FDA states that mercury has been shown to bio accumulate in the kidneys and brains of people who have amalgam fillings. AND Health Canada clearly states that drilled or excess amalgam is NOT to be disposed of down the sink or even in Bio-waste, but rather specially collected and dealt with as the toxic heavy metal that it is.
AND YET Health Canada and the FDA insist amalgam is safe and a good choice for fillings. Ok ... yes I believe you, big government. Oh and by the way please pass the fluoride cookies ...
2. Root Canals are retarded?
Turns out in my 2015 visit to UofT dental, it was determined that my front upper tooth was dead and "needed" a root canal. I have learned long ago to doubt when an expert claims I "need" something. The Dentist teacher and the student and another hygienist at UofT all agreed I needed a root canal by the way. Not knowing much at all about root canals, I insisted they NOT do it until I could do my own research and make up my mind after and only after I had a chance to. When I did a bit of research from alternative sources, I was so glad i refused the treatment that the experts said I needed. I read about horror stories of necrotic bone and huge infections forming around the roots of root canaled teeth. A root canal truly kills the tooth and think about it; would you keep a dead organ in your body? A gangrenous toe in place? Hell no - dead tissue is to be removed, and pronto.
I did not fully agree with or believe that my tooth was dead. Years later I had a digital X ray with my new dentist, Dr Schwarz (mentioned above). He said the bone holding my tooth roots on the tooth in question looked great, and so did the tooth and it's roots.
I willl not quote the good Dr Schwartz directly on root canals, as I would prefer to let him speak for himself. But he did say my tooth looked great and is fine just how it is.
more on MERCURY
I have a friend who went to a holistic dentist to remove his multiple amalgam fillings and he said that in the months following their removal (and replacement with white resin) his health drastically improved more and more. he was thrilled that he did it, at the ripe age of 40, after having them in his mouth for decades.
If you choose to remove amalgam fillings, definitely seek out an experienced holistic dentist to do so, since careless mercury filling removal can do more harm than good, from massive exposure during the removal process.
random TOOTH PAIN
A fellow I was speaking to some time ago had a persistent painful feeling in his teeth and his dentist couldn't detect any problem. Upon mentioning it to his Dr, his doc recommended he up his vitamin D intake to ten thousand iu per day. Quite a high dose, to be sure, but I have not seen toxicity evidence for even much higher doses.
Within a couple of weeks, his teeth felt solid and the pain was gone. Now for the rest of us, the lesson is that high doses of vitamin D will help prevent cavities and can help reverse deminineralisation. Of the teeth as well as the bones.
Vitamin C tooth danger
Vitamin C is absolutely necessary to keep your teeth, by helping ensure healthy gums. High doses of C can demineralise our bodies and our teeth, though. To prevent this, I take a solid 500+ mg of calcium daily along with magnesium since I take a lot of vitamin C.
Chewable vitamin C will absolutely hurt your teeth. Vitamin C is an acid. Do you think chewing an acid is a good idea for tooth health? And speaking of acid - chewing limes or lemons is also famously hard on the teeth, as I have heard from multiple experienced dental professionals.
FLUORIDE deception
I have a video in my heavy metal section which is a brilliant exposé on fluoride. If you'd like to see a dentist kill any suspicions you may have had about fluoride being good, watch dentist speaks out Bottom line; fluoride is associated with brain toxicity, lower IQ (look it up) and is NOT associated with preventing cavities. Almost all European countries do NOT fluoridate their water, by the way. And most of them sell almost no GMO foods. Hmm someone is not following the agenda ....
For many years I have refused fluoride treatment and absolutely avoid any fluoride containing toothpaste (see your health store or make your own toothpaste from a web search for home made toothpaste recipes).
