As a Type O, there are well tested foods which are beneficial, others which are neutral, and some which are harmful for you, especially when over-consumed. Type O's are genetically designed for an animal foods based diet. Type O's are the original humans. If you go back 10 000 years or more, all people were type O blood. The most pure races of humans on the planet, like Aboriginal North Americans and Aboriginal Australians are almost all type O. Type O's have the strongest physical constitution. They can handle very hard physical work and exercise. They are also the least adapted to the "modern" sick diet, high in refined carbohydrates. grains and sugars are their downfall. I repeat; Grains are not your friends. Like not even a little bit. All of my gut clients were type O, and all of them severely limited grains to heal themselves. Some had to go grain free entirely. If you insist on eating grains, at least take some seaweed and or arabinogalactan powder, isolated from Larch tree sap to minimise the damage. Both contain "sacrificial" glyco-amines that help neutralise stress to the system from making exceptions to the type O rules. Also a good idea to consume enzymes, moreso when eating any non- type O foods, again to optimise the processing in your body of these foods.
The harmful foods are negatively reactive for type O’s, stressing the body in various ways, including promoting inflammation in the gut, the joints and elsewhere.
So, the bottom line; eat "Paleo" as far as you can, mostly natural, unprocessed foods, enjoying the OFTEN foods more often, and the OCCASIONAL foods less often.
